Paisu pok or lake paisu is the lake in luk Panenteng village, it has a fairly transparent color, so that the bottom of the lake is clearly visible.
Lake paisu is taken from two local syllables, which are “paisu” which means water and “pok” which means black or can be called a black lake. The black color of the water is caused by lamun vegetation and the hundreds of years – old remains of trees inside the lake, thus reflecting the black at the bottom.
In addition to offering a tour destination, around lake paisupok are some endemic species found only on the island of Banggai islands, such as the proud raven, and the tarsier.
